During the Sanibel Captiva Board of Realtors Annual Meeting held virtually January 21st, 2021 Kimberly Alexander was named 2020's Administrative Assistant of the Year.
Kim Alexander has been with Pfeifer Realty Group since 2009 and been an instrumental part of the Brokerage's growth over the years. In fact, Kim never really interviewed to work with Eric Pfeifer. Instead, she approached Pfeifer on the Sanibel Ball Field where their paths crossed several times a week when their children were involved in many sports. She said to Eric "if you ever need any help with real estate, I have some free time now that my children are older. I can stuff envelopes or run errands." In response, Eric replied "are you looking for a job?" to which Kim replied, "are you offering me a job?". And the rest as they say is history. Kim's prior real estate experience was extensive as she was the full-time listing and closing coordinator with South Seas Properties on Captiva Island for 5 years.
Earning the 2020 Administrative Assistant of Year was quite an accomplishment. Pfeifer Realty Group finished the year as the top producing team in the Sanibel Captiva MLS during what was the most challenging real estate climate imaginable as everyone navigated the landscape produced by the global pandemic. Stepping up the plate without complaint, Kim tackled every challenge she encountered as staff worked remotely from home and then transitioned into showing homes virtually.
Currently, Kim is Pfeifer Realty Group's Listing Coordinator. Her anticipation of anything an interested seller might request or need regarding the firm's listings helps to smooth the transaction process resulting in homes that sell faster on average than all other island sales. Basically, Kim makes it easy to sell our listings by providing all available documents and information a buyer and their Buyer's Agent will need such as rental history, elevation certificates, surveys, etc. If Kim can track down the information she makes it available.
As a Notary Public, Kim also helps island residents anytime they need paperwork notarized. It's not uncommon for her to call a Pfeifer staff member or agent into the conference room to bear witness to signatures.
Congratulations to Kim. Well deserved recognition. Be careful asking Eric Pfeifer if he ever needs any help at the office. You might just land a job that lasts over a decade.
